The SDC Underwater Video Drop Camera allows you to quickly locate a particular dive site or target area without getting wet or wasting valuable dive time searching. It incorporates the same electronics as the SHC but in a ruggedized Aluminum (AL) or 316 Stainless Steel (SS) housing. The SDC system comes complete with 150' (46m) of water-blocked cable with a Kevlar ® * strength cord, power supply, interface box, and cables to connect to any TV / monitor or recorder. The SDC comes with four remotely controlled LED lights for close inspection situations.
This diver mounted-video camera is small, lightweight, high performance video camera that can be hood / helmet mounted or handheld. The SHC is a fixed focus system that will see everything the diver sees with a focal range from 4" (10cm) to infinity. This means true hands free operation. The SHC is available in B/W (SHC-MD) and Color (SHC-CD) and comes standard with Sartek's locking Wetmate connectors. The SHC can be connected to a variety of different video recorders contained in a diver carried enclosure (Sartek WSR) or connected by a surface tether to be viewed and recorded remotely. The camera only requires 12VDC input -- there are no external circuits required. The SHC produces a standard video output that can be connected to most video recorders, monitors, and televisions.
