The BQL-50 is a "test tube" style quartz light with a built in Wetmate connector. The BQL-50 allows you to change light heads underwater. The BQL-50's size and flexibility makes it a great primary or backup light. The BQL-50 is so compact that it can be tucked in a pouch or dry suit pocket. The lamp is a standard bi-pin quartz halogen, available in wattages from 10 to 100 watts. For cave divers, when carrying the BQL-50 in addition to your primary and two backups, there is no reason to terminate your dive in the event of a primary bulb failure.
Each BQL-50 is tested to 330ft/100,. The BQL-50 retro fits to most manufacturers' hand held and video lighting systems such as: AUL, Extreme Exposure, and Dive Rite.
