What type of lenses can I get with my SDC Drop Camera?
If you are getting the color camera, you can choose from 2.9mm, 3.8mm, and 6.0mm. If you are getting the black and white camera, you can choose from 2.5mm, 3.8mm, and 6.0mm.
How deep can the camera go?
The SDC Drop Camera is tested to 360 feet / 120m.
Do I need a special monitor for the Drop Camera?
No. You can use any monitor or TV that has a video input port.
What do I get with my SDC Drop Camera?
A storage reel, power supply, switch box, AC cables, cigarette lighter adapter, 150 feet / 46m of cable, and 4 built in white LED's all come standard with your SDC Drop Camera.
What options are available?
You can get a pole mount, a pistol grip, or tow adapter for the SDC camera. We also offer a poly-overbraid for the SDC Drop Camera cable that increases the tensile strength by 1500 test lb.
How much power does this unit need to run?
The entire unit draws less than 200 milliamps. You can power the camera and lights on 8 AA batteries, for 8 to 10 hours.
How long is the warranty on the camera?
The camera is warranted for one year.

Where can I mount a SHC camera?
You can mount the SHC to your mask, diving helmet, carry it with a pistol grip, mount it to a DPV, ROV, or a pole mount.
What about focusing?
The SHC has a focal range from 4" / 10 cm to infinity. The electronic shutter automatically adjusts within the range of 1/60 to 1/100,000 of a second.
Can I operate the SHC from the surface?
Yes. You can run the SHC from the surface or you can attach it to the SRE on the diver.
