Smaller is Finally Better!!!

Sartek has developed a "New Generation" of submersible battery systems. They are the Sartek MICRO2, MINI5, CBPS4.5LI, CBPS9LLI , CBPL9LI, CBPL26LI and the CBPL18LI. These Sartek battery systems are lighter, smaller and more powerful than existing battery systems. The key is that they each contain a Lithium Ion battery pack. The Sartek Lithium Ion batteries have numerous advantages over the currently used battery chemistries, such as:

• About a quarter of the weight and size for the same power capacity of SLA batteries.
• Long life, No cell memory (unlike Nicads)
• Withstands high charge/discharge currents
• Built in automatic thermal high current protection.
• Can be used with standard halogen lights
• Can be retrofitted to existing battery canisters (this can make room for important emergency equipment, such as an EPIRB or multiple Snickers bars)

The CBPS4.5LI and the CBPS9LLI are made of highly durable PVC and now come with captive O ring "screw on" lids, a heavy-duty switch and Sartek's right angle strain relief. The CBPL9LI and the CBPL18LI are made of high strength acrylic with 1" thick top and bottom lids. Sartek acrylic canisters have locking latches with O ring sealed screws. All Sartek battery canisters have a double "O" ring sealed rotary switch. Sartek battery canisters are available hardwired or with an optional Wetmate connector. A Sartek (SFC) Smart Fast Charger (5 hours) with a universal power supply and a car adapter is included with any Sartek Lithium Ion Lighting System. A Smart Trickle Charger (STC) is included with the purchase of any Sartek NIMH Lighting System. The Both chargers come with a universal power supply which accommodates an input voltage of 100 to 260 VAC 50 or 60 Hz.
